Netanyahu got huge victory over Chief Rival in Israel Election

Israel Election result has come out with the victory of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. He is ready to serve a fourth term with his new government.

Mr. Netanyahu offended many voters but he got a huge victory on 29 or 30 seats out of the 120 seats in the parliament. He was able to sweep his past chief rival, the center-left Zionist Union alliance after captured number of seats.

Mr. Netanyahu and his allies started to celebrate the victory with singing and dancing earlier when they saw the slimmer lead of Mr. Likud. Last Friday, the pre- election polls were showing off the four to five seats lead of Isaac Herzog. But it was stunning change with the victory of Likud on 30 seats.

Mr. Herzog called the election “an incredible achievement.” “The public wants a change,” he said at an election-night party in Tel Aviv, before the Likud’s large margin of victory was revealed by the actual vote count. “We will do everything in our power, given the reality, to reach this. In any case, I can tell you that there will be no decisions tonight.”
