Brittany Maynard killed herself with Dignity

The 29 year old “Brittany Maynard” killed herself with dignity and ended her life since she was diagnosed with “brain cancer”. Some people have condemned her decision while others have cheered. Some people are saying that it pleaded with nature. 

Maynard died on Saturday after took lethal medication prescribed by a doctor. He died in her bedroom, in the arms of her closet and surrounded by her family, Sean Crowley, a Compassion & Choices spokesman, said in a statement today.   

“Compassion & Choices” a non- profit organization said on its facebook page that “We're sad to announce the passing of a dear and wonderful woman, Brittany Maynard. She passed peacefully in her bed surrounded by close family and loved ones".   

Brittany was suffering from head and neck pain for a long time and earlier this year, she moved with her husband “Daniel Diaz” from San Francisco to Oregon after she knew her diagnosis.

Brittany released an emotional video for Compassion & Choices about her terminal illness and why she ended her life. On You Tube, the video got more than 9.3 million views; her fund’s website had visited more than 4 million times.  

In a post on her Facebook page Saturday she thanked "all those who have without hesitation helped me," and expressed her love for her family and close friends. 

"Goodbye to all my dear friends and family that I love," she wrote. "Today is the day I have chosen to pass away with dignity in the face of my terminal illness, this brain cancer that has taken so much from me... but would have taken so much more."
