The national weather service designated
the weather “crippling and
potentially historic blizzard" that banned travel across city.
The storm did not bring a lot of rain while lot of thunderstorm into the
south.
The storm will move out of the
region by sunrise Tuesday at the latest, leaving partly cloudy skies. According
to the research the western zone became the more flooded area during storm.
Dr Wenju Cai from the
Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO),
Australia, said this would mean an increase in the occurrence of
"devastating weather events with profound socio-economic
consequences".
The National Basketball Association
games postponed their schedule games due to the worse weather conditions. The
Sacramento Kings at New York Knicks game has been rescheduled for Tuesday,
March 3 at 7 p.m. at Madison Square Garden. The Portland Trail Blazers at
Brooklyn Nets game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at
Barclays Center.
Temps will be in the upper 60s to
the lower 70s for most of the South land, and 40s in the mountains.
