Oscar Nominations



The Wait is over when Oscar nomination declared Thursday morning in Los angles. It is the 87th annual Academy Awards. This has been one of the more unpredictable Oscar seasons in recent memory. 

Here is the full list of Oscar Nominations:

Best Actor: Steve Carell - "Foxcatcher", Bradley Cooper -"American Sniper", Benedict Cumberbatch -"The Imitation Game", Michael Keaton - "Birdman", Eddie Redmayne - "The Theory of Everything".

Best Actress: Marion Cotillard - "Two Days, One Night", Felicity Jones -"The Theory of Everything", Julianne Moore- "Still Alice", Rosamund Pike- "Gone Girl", Reese Witherspoon - "Wild".

Best Animated Feature Film: "Big Hero 6","The Boxtrolls", "How to Train Your Dragon 2", "Song of the Sea", "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya".

Best Live Action Short Film: "Aya", "Boogaloo and Gram", "Butter Lamp", "Parvaneh", "The Phone Call".
Best Animated Short Film: "The Bigger Picture", "The Dam Keeper", "Feast", "Me and My Moulton", "A Single Life".


Best Original Song: "Glory" by Common and John Legend - "Selma", "Lost Stars" by Gregg Alexander, Danielle Brisebois, Nick Lashley and Nick Southwood -"Begin Again", "Everything Is Awesome" by Shawn Patterson- "The LEGO Movie", "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," by Glen Campbell, "Glenn Campbell: I'll Be Me", "Grateful"- "Beyond the Lights".

Best Picture : "American Sniper", "Birdman", "Boyhood", "The Grand Budapest Hotel", "The Imitation Game", "Selma", "The Theory of Everything", "Whiplash". 

Best Director: Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu- "Birdman", Richard Linklater -"Boyhood", Bennett Miller-"Foxcatcher", Wes Anderson - "The Grand Budapest Hotel", Morten Tyldum - "The Imitation Game".

Best Foreign Language Film: "Ida", "Leviathan", "Tangerines", "Timbuktu", "Wild Tales".

Best Cinematography: Emmanuel Lubezki - "Birdman", Roger Deakins- "Unbroken", Robert D. Yeoman, "The Grand Budapest Hotel", Dick Pope- "Mr. Turner", Lukasz Zal and Ryszard Lynzewski -"Ida".

We will see on the Oscar night who will be the winner in different categories.  The Oscar night will host by Neil Patrick Harris and will air on ABC on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
