A big change in ABC’s daily show
“The View”, host Sherri Shepherd and co-host Jenny McCarthy are leaving the
show. They confirmed on Thursday night that both of them are exiting from
daytime talk show.
Sherri Shepherd failed to reach
the new contract conditions after a successful run of seven years. “It’s been
seven wonderful years on ‘The View’ and after careful consideration it is time
for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and [executive
producer] Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity,” Shepherd said in a
statement.
Jenny McCarthy has been fired
after a single season, tweeting late Thursday that "my view will be
changing too."
Creator and executive producer
Walters will also retired from the show in May.
“The view” is one of the most
important and successful series of the decade that put forcefully opposing
opinion about the biggest issues of the day in front of the viewers.
ABC’s show “The View” will be
coming with new lineup and with new exiting directions for an 18th
season on September 15. And also there is a strong possibility for moving the
show to new home; a neighboring New York studio vacated by Katie Couric's talk
show, where its makeover allow host to interact more with the audience.
