Oscar 2015



Wow it’s great; the night has come for which everyone was waiting. 

Last night was shining with the Oscar star that was receiving their Awards. The 87th Academy Awards ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on 22nd February.

The show hosted by Neil Patrick Harris who made the show amazing with its opening to till ending. Everyone was willing to laugh with his jokes. 

The Oscar night comes with the awards who were nominated earlier. Birdman took most of the awards.  The full list is:

Best Picture: Birdman — Alejandro G. Inarritu, John Lesher and James W. Skotchdopole. Birdman received other awards as Best Director, Original Screenplay and Achievement in Cinematography. 
  
Best Actor: Eddie Redmayne — the Theory of Everything and the Best Actress: Julianne Moore — Still Alice. 

Best Supporting Actor: J.K. Simmons — Whiplash and Best Supporting Actress: Patricia Arquette — Boyhood.

Best Animated Movie: Big Hero Six — Don Hall, Chris Williams and Roy Conli. Best Animated Short:  Feast — Patrick Osborne and Kristina Reed. 

Achievement in Sound Mixing and Film Editing: Whiplash— Craig Mann, Ben Wilkins, Thomas Curley, Tom Cross. 

Best Original Song: Glory — John Stephens and Lonnie Lynn. 

Best Foreign Language Film: Ida – Pawel Pawlikowski and Best Live Action Short Film: The Phone Call — Matt Kirkby and James Lucas. 

Best Documentary Short Subject: Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1 — Ellen Goosenberg Kent and Dana Perry. 

Achievement in Sound Editing:  American Sniper — Alan Robert Murray Bub Asman and Achievement in Visual Effects: Interstellar — Ian Hunter, Scott Fisher, Andrew Lockley and Paul Franklin.

Best Documentary Feature: Citizen Four — Laura Poitras, Mathilde Bonnefoy and Dirk Wilutzky. 

Best Original Score: The Grand Budapest Hotel — Alexandre Desplat.
