Petronella Wyatt

Petronella Wyatt is a British journalist and author. She was born in London and she has been a weekly columnist for the Sunday Telegraph.

In 2004 British newspapers reported that she had an affair with Conservative MP Boris Johnson and that Boris had promised to leave his wife.The affair was made public by her mother. She told that her daughter had an abortion last month as a result of an affair with Johnson, who is married with four children.

The pregnancy was unplanned and occurred when Johnson sought to rekindle the relationship. “It was just one of those things which happened, he came along and told her he still loved her. It was one of those accidents which happened which nobody really wanted to. That is the truth.”. This story brought to an end Johnson’s fcareer in frontline politics.
