The “Modern family” actress Elizabeth
Pena has died on Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He died
due to natural causes at the age 55.
Her manager Gina Rugolo confirmed
her death and said she passed away after a short illness on October 15. He was born
in New Jersey and made his career in New York.
Elizabeth spent more than four
decades for her acting career and she was best known for her role in “The
Incredibles” and for playing character Sofia Vergara‘s
mother on Modern Family. She played beautiful roles in La Bamba, Rush
Hour, Down and Out in Beverly Hills and Lone Star.
Steve Levitan, the show’s
co-creator and executive producer, paid tribute to Pena on Twitter.
"We were so sad to learn of
the passing of Elizabeth Pena. A member of our Family, she will be missed.
#RIPElizabethPena," tweeted Levitan.
After hearing this sad news all
of her fans and loved one paid tribute on twitter by posting their thoughts. Eva
lovingly wrote, “Rest in Peace Elizabeth Pena…you paved the way for so many of
us!!”
Actress Elizabeth will be deeply
missed and or thoughts are with her family members and friends. Elizabeth
survived by her husband, two teenage children and her mother and sister. Our thoughts
and felling always be with her family and friends during this difficult time.
