Thomas
Eric Duncan, who was the first Ebola person in U.S, has died on Wednesday
at 7:51 am. The patient was being treated in Texas Hospital; his death
confirmed by hospital authorities.
"It is with profound sadness
and heartfelt disappointment that we must inform you of the death of Thomas
Eric Duncan this morning at 7:51 am," hospital spokesman Wendell
Watson.
Thomas became sick after traveling to Texas from his home Liberia on 20 September. He has no any symptoms
of disease during traveling but after few days he suffered from fever, headache
and abdominal pain.
He was admitted in hospital on 24
September where he visited in emergency room of Texas Health Presbyterian in
Dallas. Doctors said that Mr. Duncan told them he recently came from the West
Africa. After some days his health condition took a worse turn and by Saturday
his health condition turns serious to critical.
On Wednesday doctors were unable
to treat him with his dangerous virus and Mr. Duncan passed away due to Ebola
Virus. Doctors treated him the experimental drug ZMapp, but there is no
approved treatment or vaccine against the virus till now.
Health exporters will monitor the
persons for 21 days who directly contact with Mr. Duncan. The normal incubation
period of the disease for 21 days and the disease can be spread directly
contact through bodily fluids of a sick person.
