40th anniversary of Rubik’s cube celebrated with google doodle



Google celebrated 40th anniversary of Rubik’s cube on 19 May. It is an addictive math toy which is celebrated with interactive doodle. Rubik's Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle game, who was invented by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik in 1974.

It is intended not to be toy while a puzzle game. Many people take time to solve it, but a few make successes. Some of them say it is a frustrating sort of toy.

The inventor architecture professor Erno Rubik made up design to solve 3D geometry. He also spent weeks to solve his own creation. He was unable to figure out this puzzle and he wrote about his invention “It was wonderful”.

Rubik, who was 29 year old at the time, managed licence of toy to Ideal Toy Corp in 1980. It was originally called the magic cube even rebranded by many names like; Rubik's Cube Invention, the Rubik's Magic 3D combination puzzle, Rubik's Magic: Master Edition and the Rubik's Snake.
It is best-selling toy over 350 million units till now. A Dutch teenager made world record to complete the cube in just 5.55 seconds.


The Rubik’s Cube can be arranged 43 quintillion ways or 43,000,000,000,000,000,000.

The Rubik’s cube comprises of 26 cubes that rotate on central axis and nine coloured on sides. When the cube turns in a few ways all colours will become mix in one to another sides. Now the player will rearranges cube’s colours after that the player can attain its original configuration.
