ISIS Militants claimed to kill journalist James Foley on Video post

James Foley, a journalist who had been disappeared in Syria since 2012, the Islamic State militants has claimed to be killed a reporter on 19th August, Tuesday.

The Islamic Militants released an online video on Tuesday which shows a masked ISIS member beheading a kneeling man who dressed in an orange jumpsuit purported to be James Wright Foley, who went missing approximately two years ago.

The militants said it was the revenge for US air strikes against the Islamic State group in Iraq.

James Foley a correspondent for the Global Post had been kidnapped in Libya where he was reporting on the civil war with other three journalists, who had filed stories for USA Today and the Atlantic, including a freelance reporter named Clare Morgana Gillis.

Foley's mother Diane said on Facebook she was proud of her son: "He gave his life trying to expose the world to the suffering of the Syrian people."

The White House said if the video was genuine, the US would be "appalled".

The hope of his family also died after the video post by the jihadist group ISIS. Foley’s wife appealed to the militants to free other captives.

It was the struggle of Foley which shows that Jim's value was so much more. The journalist death is the direct result of US bombing of IS targets in Iraq.

The global post asked for prayers for Jim and his family.
