The “Burlesque” star Stephen Lee died at 58



The “Burlesque” star Stephen Lee who spent more than three decades in the business has died of a heart attack on August 14. He was 58.  

Lee’ friend Lisa Pescia confirmed his death; she said he died from heart attack in his apartment in Los Angeles.   

He played most wonderful roles in films “Burlesque” (2010) with Cher and Christina Aguilera, “The Negotiator” (1998) with Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey and 1983’s “WarGames” with Matthew Broderick. 

Stephen Lee also did a great work on TV series and he received his first attention by “Hart to Hart” in 1981. He also worked in “The Dukes of Hazzard” and “Who’s the Boss?” in 1984. He also played a role in TV movie Roseanne and Tom: Behind the Scenes in 1994. Most recently his TV credits include “NCIS,” “Numbers,” “Bones” and “Ghost Whisperer” in 2010.

He was the character actor; he had performed on the short-lived series Gung Ho, based on the Michael Keaton movie. Other films in which he played outstanding included “La Bamba” and “RoboCop 2.”
