Panther’s player Greg Hardy deactivated after domestic violence charges

The NFL is facing controversy over their players’, Carolina Panthers player Greg Hardy who was convicted of domestic violence has been deactivated from the 14th September game. He was indicated in domestic violence in May.

Hardy was set to play on Sunday but the team announced just before the game time that he is not a part of team. The team recently announced that Ray Rice and Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson won’t play either.

The NFL had taken decision to suspend Ray Rice after seen the online posted video by TMZ in which he was beating his now-wife in February.

Critics had surprised how Rice was suspended and Hardy was not, but it’s clear when later NFL deactivated Hardy on Sunday.

Authorities said Greg Hardy choked his girlfriend, threw her to the floor, and dragged her by her hair and threatening to kill her. He was charged 18 months probation and a 60-day jail sentence. The 6 foot 4 appealed to guilty by a Mecklenburg County judge in North Carolina.

The Carolina Panthers had given the statement in response to his appeal: “We have just learned of the verdict and are respectful of the process. We do not have a comment at this time.”

Hardy’s girlfriend said in the police report “He looked me in my eyes and he told me he was going to kill me”.

It is a great applaud of Panthers for deactivating Greg because he had charged domestic violence. If they allowed to Greg it is a negative attention.
