The weather channel apologized over Joel Burns tweet



 
The weather channel has apologized to city Councilman Joel Burns after tweeter flap. On Monday in an incident connecting to the cable network’s mobile app and a Fort Worth, Texas city councilman, Joel Burns.

The incident occurred in dallas morning when Joel Burns tweeted to the weather channel asking them to fix a mistake in their app that displayed the dallas pictures when people check the weather for Fort Worth. When he received no response of appeal, he deleted app from his phone.

The weather channel apologized two-hours after whole incident occurred. Burns stated complaint to weather channel on how not to behave of his tweet and said to donate $100,000 to the Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network and The Trevor Project.
