Snapchat introduces latest new features text messaging and video chatting

On Thursday Snapchat introduced biggest update to added new version of photo-messaging service. It helps people to converse not by messaging but also by video chatting. Previously, users were not able to send more than 45-character in an individual snap, but with the latest version users will be able to text unlimited characters. Snapchat new version also added live video chatting, this feature worked on app when both users are in same conversation. When this occurs, the yellow capture button turns into a blue button the company is calling "here."when user hold down the here button  app will begin to record video and that will be presented on other user's screen immediately.

Snapchat has hired jab Bouters as director of information security. Previously, Boutros has worked with Google and Oracle. Snapchat also recruited Peter Magnusson as Vice President of Engineering.

Snapchat spokeswoman Mary Ritti said, People now can communicate and share photos and videos beyond traditional texting. Users now can send more than 700 million disappearing snaps a day, with more than 500 million stories viewed daily.

Spiegel said. “If I’m walking around and want to show you something, why do I have to switch apps?” 

A blog post company wrote that Snapchat was missing a wide part of conversation called presence. But now Snapchat's newest app is available on iOS and Android.
