Canada day: have fun on Parliament Hill



 Canadians enjoyed a great celebration on the Canada day. It is the biggest parties’ day and the whole Canada shows the full day festivities. All nations’ people have a great craze about celebration on the Parliament Hill. 

Canada day is the day, The British North America Act created Canada in 1867. From that time Canada day is the national day celebrated on July 1, every year with more happiness and enthusiasm.

This year people all over the country and the world had came to see the sunrise of Canada on its birthday. A chorus of drums and bagpipes greeted the rising sun on Signal Hill. All visitors raised the nation flag in observance of Memorial Day. 

People showed their love about nation in different ways like dance performances, musical performances, wearing red and white clothes and draw painting on face. A lot of firework showed in parliament hill in Ottawa. More than 1100 aerial shells were fired, According to the government’s website. 

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife, Laureen, and Gov.-Gen. David Johnston and his wife, Sharon, arrived on Parliament Hill around noon to kick off the official program.

It is the 147th anniversary of Canada. All people gathered with their friends and family for our nation’s birth. I wish to you all a very happy Canada day.
