It was quite amazing that Drake, the rapper hosted the 2014 ESPY (short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award) on
July 16. The ESPY annual sports award show aired on ESPN and the red carpet
filled with full of athletes and celebrities.
During his opening monologue, the
27 year old hit the stage and poked fun at himself for being the host of
sports. Chris
Brown and Drake just killed with his comedic jokes at the ESPY.
The award
show night’s best memorable moment was come with Lance Cam to his skit
that included Blake Griffin and
Chris Brown to his Manny
Pacquiao impression.
Michael Sam accepted award for the Arthur Ashe Courage and gave powerful
speech. ESPN anchor Stuart Scott’s
told touching story of never quitting after he won the Jimmy V award.
Of all the athletes, the one most inspiring
award was for Josh Sweeney who was
in wheel chair to receiving “The Pat Tillman Award”.
