“Sam and Cat” cancelled: dispute between co-stars



The news released earlier today that Ariana Grande’s Nickelodeon show has been cancelled after one year. Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy’s comedy series show “Sam and Cat” has finished and has been rife with rumors of conflict.

The network did not explain the enough reason for cancelling the show. “Nickelodeon will not be producing more episodes of Sam & Cat," the network said in a statement cited by Deadline.

The news revealed that stars have an issue with Nickelodeon regarding salary. The rumor stated, the main cause of dispute is McCurdy’s unhappiness over the salary but Grande disclosed they both have paid being equally. 

Ariana Grande posts a thanks letter on Twitter to the fans of the show, series creator Dan Schneider and the cast and crew, but she did not mention name of her co-star Jennette McCurdy.

The big rumor came out in April when Jennette McCurdy did not join Grande at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards ceremony even she unfollowed Grande on Twitter.

Grande confirmed the cancellation with Nickelodeon on Sunday on Twitter and gave thanks to come her childhood dreams come true.
