BET awards 2014 organized at the Nokia
Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday. There were most stunning
performances during the show. The show hosted by Chris Rock.
The top superstars performed like
Lil Wayne, Chris Rock and others were set to mark the best in black
entertainment.
Chris Brown, who performed single
in an outstanding way on a huge stage and Lil Wayne and Tyga joined him. The second
wonderful performance of the night made by Wayne, who came wear a red hat,
matching plaid jacket, sunglasses and jeans.
The night’s big superstar was Beyonce,
who won three awards including the 2014 FANdemonium award, voted on by
viewers. Pharrell Williams and August Alsina had also a happy
night with winning of two awards.
“12 Years a Slave” won award for best
movie starring Lupita Nyong’o and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Nicki Minaj won
for best female hip hop star.
The BET awards
ceremony began under the shadow of violence with one person had killed
and five injured in two separate incidents ahead of the show at the Nokia
Theatre L.A. Live, Los Angeles police said. The death and four injuries were
happened at a restaurant on early Sunday, Officer Drake Madison said.
"The network and all
organizers will continue to maintain a safe environment for all planned
activities," BET said in the statement said.
