Rizzoli & Isles confront with lead actor’s death



Lee Thompson Young was just 13 when he started his career with cast a little character with Disney series The Famous Jett Jackson. He continuously played roles in different movies and TV series. 

He committed suicide in august 2013 then he was playing role as a detective Barry Frost in the hit TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. He was at age 29 and had suffered from disease bipolar disorder.

The death of Detective Barry Frost (Lee Thompson Young) will be commemorated in Rizzoli & Isles season 5 that include a memory of Barry Frost on June 24, on second episode. The show’s producer said on Young’s death in 2013 they did not have time to continue show in season 4 without presence of Frost.

The premiere of season 5 showed Korsak explains that Frost visiting her mother. But after some time Korsak received a call from Maura. Frost had been accidently on his mother’s way. Jane met Maura on the accident spot and Maura told that Frost had already dead.

Episode 2 titled by the name of “Goodbye” will be a memorial service of Barry Frost in which Jane speaks. She said we could not just say frost went on vacation but even show that how much fun he had and took a job opportunity in new city.

Jan Nash, the new show runner, told to TV Guide that loss of Young has been too tough. “It was very daunting knowing what was before me and what I had to do,” Nash said.
