The leftovers: “pilot”

The leftovers: “pilot” is a T.V series created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta. It is based on Perrotta's novel and directed by Peter Berg.

There are a number of strong elements that describes the thought “Pilot”.  There is so much uncertainty at its centre that watching it dies feel that it can solve at some extent. It might completely and totally sputter and burn out,” Damon Lindeolf told New York Times Magazine.

Kevin Garvey (Justin Theroux) as a chief of police, is trying to connect first to his daughter and then to his son, and the easiest explanation that his wife Laurie (Amy Brenneman) was lost on October 14, with 100 other members of their town.

The episode plays with the reveal deftly, making it possible but unexpected until the very end—even after the two have run into each other (almost literally) on-screen, in the episode’s second-act climax, the protest at the three-year memorial service for the “heroes.”
