Marion “Suge” Knight has wounded in the shooting at a nightclub in West
Hollywood. A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy confirmed the shooting at early
Sunday morning.
"The family of Suge
Knight asks that you keep Suge in your prayers and to stray away from the
negativity portrayed by the media," the statement reads.
The 49 year old Knight was able
to walk out in the 10AK nightclub after shooting. He admitted at an area
hospital where he went under surgery after six gunshot wounds. He is suffering
the wounds twice in stomach and arm, according to TMZ.
The other two people, 19-year-old
woman and 32-year-old man, were also wounded. They were also hospitalized and
are giving treatment for rehabilitation.
The incident happened at party
hosted by singer Chris Brown on West Sunset Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. on the
eve of the MTV Video Music Awards.
TMZ showed the video where the
people were leaving the club with their hands in the air by command of investigators
who were searching for the shooter.
Authorities are still seeking the
suspect and refused to release other information till investigation going on. Though
TMZ reported there was tension outside the club earlier in the night between
Game and club security, it is still unclear what sparked the shooting.
