"The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" actress Marilyn Burns died at 65



Actress Marilyn Burns, best known for her role in 1974s hit release "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre", has died at age 65.she also gave her stunning performance in TV movie "Helter Skelter".
She found dead at her Houston-area home on Tuesday, it confirmed by Burns manager, Chris Roe. The cause of death was unknown till now. 

Marilyn Burns was born in Erie, Penn., raised in Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Drama in 1971. 

She started her film career at her younger age when she was going in high school, did small role in Robert Altman’s “Brewster McCloud” and George Roy Hill’s “The Great Waldo Pepper.” 

Burns played her first lead role as Sally in original "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” from which she gained fame and she was most known for her horror movie Hooper’s 1977 “Eaten Alive”, among her other films were “Kiss Daddy Goodbye” and “Future-Kill.”     

Marilyn Burns made her final film role appearance in the Leatherface saga, 2013’s Texas Chainsaw 3D. She also appeared in the 2014 horror film The Sacrament.

Burns career spanned four decades, mostly played roles in horror films that we can never forget. Burns played stunning performances in movies that have made an impact on many other great women.
