belle gunness

Belle Gunness (1896-1908) was one of America's most dangerous female serial killers. She killed 49 people ( known number), mostly adopted kids, her many husbands, vagrants ranch workers. Belle Gunness was 5'8" ft tall and over 200 lb. Avery stong woman by physique, Belle Gunness may have killed both of her husbands and all of her children (on different occasions), but she is known to have killed most of her suitors, boyfriends, and her two daughters, Myrtle and Lucy.

The motive was mainly insurance money!

But what happened to Belle Gunness? No one knows. She vanished without a trace in April 1908. No one heard from her since. Maybe she killed more in another time and place under some other guise. No one can tell.
