Halfrek

‘Halfrek’ won $516k at one of the two largest events in Full Tilt Poker’s flagship tournament series which were played out last night with a $2,500 buy-in deepstacked event hosted by Phil Ivey.

900 players made up a prize pool of approximately $2.25m, nearly a full $1m more than the $1.5m guarantee. The first place honours went to ‘Halfrek’ who won $516,000. Erich Kollmann, the Full Tilt Pro, finished 12th.

Now that the $2,500 buy-in deepstacked event has seen Halfrek as the emerging star, all eyes are set on The massive Main Event which is still running and saw over 4,000 players create a prize pool of more than $2m. At the moment, ‘R3dL0bster’ currently holds a lead and looks like the one to most likely to win!
