Adrian Peterson appeared in child abuse case





“Adrian Peterson” agreed to plea in case of child abuse, Adrian and his wife appeared in court on Tuesday with charge of assault. The court ordered to $4000 fine and to perform 80 hours community service.   

Peterson will avoid the jail time. Peterson appeared in Conroe, Tex. Court in front of Judge "Kelly W. Case" in charge of disciplining his 4-year-old son with a switch in May at his home in Spring, Tex. The court accepted plea against Peterson for reckless child abuse and negligent injury to child. 

“We would review the matter, including the court record, and the commissioner would make a determination,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said before the ruling. “We cannot provide a timetable.” 

Peterson has missed eight games till now, the Vikings allowed to Peterson to play after he indicated in child abuse case on September 11 but they reversed course after a loud public backlash.
