Midterm elections: Online vote on Tuesday

The midterm elections held on November 4 and polls will open from 7am to 7 pm. Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann say most of the calls received by his office on election day are from people trying to locate their precinct.

They provide a link by which everyone can easily find their location:

First enter your address into the field and the locater will easily locate the correct polling address. For voting in New York State, voter must be citizen of 30 days and at least 18 years old. Voters who are outside New York State can go to CanIVote.org to find a poll site in their area.

Those who are in jail or a parole of conviction have not permitted to vote and those who are not register yet are not allowed to vote because registration takes 25 days to be effective.

The Secretary of State's elections hotline, to report problems, is 844-MSVoter, or 800-829-6786. For election reminders on your phone,  text MSVoter to 95577.
