Meghan Trainor: performed on thanksgiving song in Jimmy Kimmel Live

Meghan Trainor premiered her new fake album of thanksgiving carols on Jimmy Kimmel live on Thursday night. Music is a staple of the Christmas holidays, but there is a glaring lack of special tunes for Thanksgiving.

Jimmy introduced the clip in the show saying there are thousands of Christmas songs but the thanksgiving theme song from the golden girl, to me, is unacceptable. ‘Tonight I’m pleased to premiere [Meghan’s] brand new album of what I think will soon be considered Thanksgiving holiday classics.’

Dressed in her best autumn sweater, Trainor tackles many of the subjects that make Thanksgiving a memorable day.

The 20-year-old All About That Bass hitmaker sings snippets of her various songs in the advertisement for her made-up Thanksgiving album.

She begins with, 'My Flight Got Canceled in Denver (I'll Be Sleeping at an Airport Quizno's Tonight),' seguing to 'Uncle Dan Hates Obama (AndWon’t Shut up about Benghazi).'
