Deborah Jeane Suicide

Deborah Jeane, DC madam, committed suicide Thursday in her mother’s Florida home. Deborah Jeane was convicted on April 15 of money laundering, racketeering, and using mail for illegal purposes. She was awaiting sentencing when she took her own life.

There was a suicide note, but police did not disclose its contents or how she killed herself. Palfrey, 52, was reportedly staying at the home of her mother, who owns the property where the body was found, police said. The Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death, police said. The county sheriff's office and the FBI are participating in the investigation.
