The first H&M in southwest Florida



 
The first H&M has opened in Southwest Florida opens inside the Mall at University Town Center on December 1st. The two story store opened in 880,000-square-foot area. 

The mall has opened its doors and the first 200 shoppers in line. A New York-based Rouse Properties Inc. has been busy since buying Chesterfield Towne Centre one year ago. Chesterfield Towne Center is one of three Rouse Malls getting an H&M. 

The Swedish multinational company H&M has planned to open at the Westfield Sarasota Square Mall in 2015 in 22000 square feet. 

The Swedish international brand is best known for its discount prices on trendy apparel for young men and women. 

The company also is ready to start interior renovations that will include an inside fireplace, soft seating and new accent lighting throughout the mall.
